Nevins Trophy Regatta

This past weekend five sailors, three of which were freshmen, headed out to Kings Point, New York to compete at the Nevins Trophy Regatta. This was our first ICSA competition of the season.
Sailors left Ann Arbor midafternoon on Friday. The sailors stayed at the Danilek family’s house. We would like to thank them for their generous hospitality.
On Saturday there were about 5 to 12 knots of breeze and the competition was tough. The regatta was a great learning experience for the sailors and they came back knowing what areas they need to work on at future practices.
